Strategy Maker

Build, simulate, and execute multi-step BTC strategies on Starknet.

The Strategy Maker is where you build, simulate, and execute BTC strategies. Every step runs from your own wallet straight into Starknet's BTC protocols, with full yield, leverage, and liquidation risk shown before you commit.

Preset strategies

Midas ships with four presets you can use as-is or as a starting point:

PresetRiskStepsLeverageFor
HODL+Low1NonePassive HODLers. Deposit BTC at Vesu Prime, earn supply APY plus the BTCFi STRK incentive while keeping liquidation risk at zero.
Modular Power-StackHigh51.3×Point farmers. Stake 85% at Endur, supply the resulting xWBTC at Vesu (earning both legs), borrow USDC, and route it into the Troves WBTC/USDC vault. The aggressive sibling of Split Routing.
Split Routing Yield MaxiHigh51.3×Balanced yield. Splits 70/30, stakes 70% through the leveraged Endur→Vesu→Troves loop while keeping 30% un-leveraged.
Active GuardHigh2NoneYield maximizers. 70% into an Ekubo concentrated LP (WBTC/USDC ±15% range) plus a 30% Vesu safety buffer.

Building a strategy

You can edit any preset or build from scratch using the Add Step button. There are four step types:

  • Deposit — supply BTC into a lending or yield vault (e.g. Vesu, Troves)
  • Stake — stake BTC for a liquid staking token (e.g. Endur → xWBTC)
  • Borrow — borrow against your collateral, with an adjustable LTV slider that shows headroom against the protocol cap (e.g. "40% of 78% cap")
  • Swap — exchange tokens at the best available on-chain rate

Each step is a set of dropdowns (action / protocol / market) with its own live APY contribution and a delete control. You can drag to reorder steps, and use Ctrl+Z to undo.

Modifying a preset makes it simulation-only

Once you change a preset's steps, Midas marks the strategy as simulation-only — you can explore its projected APY and risk, but execution runs the base preset at its default settings. Fully custom on-chain execution is coming with the Strategy Router.

Reading the results

As you build, a results panel updates live with:

  • Est. Net APY and projected yearly yield on your deposit
  • Leverage and total BTC deployed
  • Risk Assessment — a 0–100 gauge plus a per-step breakdown
  • Endur Points multiplier where the stake leg qualifies (e.g. 5–15× during a points season)
  • BTC Flow — a waterfall showing how your BTC moves through each step
  • Step Breakdown — a table of each step's leg APY and contribution to the total
  • 365-Day Projection — a straight-line projection vs. simply holding. It deliberately ignores compounding, impermanent loss, rate drift, gas, and BTC price moves, so actual returns will vary.
  • Historical Backtest (Beta) — a 14-day backtest using each pool's recorded APY, with annualized return and best/worst day

For leveraged strategies, the panel also shows the liquidation price, Health Factor (safe above 1.0), and the liquidation penalty, along with a plain-language warning when borrow interest could outpace staking yield.

Compare and Share

  • Compare splits the builder into two side-by-side strategies (A and B), each with its own asset, preset, and deposit amount — useful for weighing APY and risk against each other before committing. Toggle back with Single View.
  • Share generates a verifiable "receipt" card (effective APY, net APY, risk score, asset, and protocol stack) that you can post to X, copy as a link, or download as an image. A "show deposit amount" toggle lets you keep your size private; it's off by default.
